Rajnikanth Yogi Feet Issue:- Rajinikanth, a superstar, claimed on Monday that he always prostrates himself at the feet of yogis or sanyasis, regardless of their age.

The prominent actor made these comments in response to a reporter’s inquiry regarding the “controversy” surrounding his touching Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, during his recent visit to Lucknow.

Rajinikanth arrived in Chennai on Monday night after several days of travel. He spoke with reporters outside the airport for a short time. Rajinikanth explained that he made the gesture of touching Yogi Adityanath’s feet out of respect when asked about his thoughts on the incident. According to the news agency ANI, he stated, “Even if they are younger than me, it is my habit to touch the feet of Yogis or Sanyasis and take their blessings. Only that was what I did.

The 72-year-old actor’s gesture caused an online uproar, particularly in Tamil Nadu, as people questioned whether it was appropriate for him to touch the feet of the much younger UP CM.

The actor also expressed his gratitude to the public for making his most recent film, “Jailer,” a “grand success.”He declined to discuss politics when he was questioned about the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Rajinikanth hosted a special screening of his movie Jailer while he was in Uttar Pradesh, and Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, attended. Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, was also met by him there.
