The Indian Women’s team started very well. Indian bowlers also kept building pressure with highlight with the ball from Radha Yadav, which ended innings from Ayesha Naseem and Bismah Maroof, which took Pakistan to 149/4. Shafali Verma helped India to maximize the momentum of the match initially. Jemimah Rodrigues half-century and superb innings from Richa Ghosh helped India to accomplish the great chase at T20 World Cup and India’s victory.

We were going over by over and we knew they would bowl a loose ball so that is what we had to punish. We knew wed win if we stayed till the end. We are very happy we have won this, momentum is on our side and now we just need to do the simple things correctly and consistently.”
